I am sorry to inform the poets and fans that something went wrong with the recording program I use for the podcast and all the data was lost. This was one of our best Slams (in my humble opinion) so I am very disappointed and feel like my very own pet (if I believed in pets) died. I tried to recover the data in many ways but it seems to have been utterly lost... this is what the message board told me... "Project check detected 271 missing audio data blockfile [S] probably due to a bug, system crash or accidental deletion. There is no way for Audacity to recover this lost data automatically." If there's any computer hackers or miracle tech workers out there that know how to retrieve lost data contact me at lynda.letona@usd.edu. Otherwise, I am again sorry to say there will be no October Podcast. Anyhow, I hope to see the poets who performed again and maybe next time the audacity program will actually work. Man that sucks! (Just had to say that). September Slam
